FIFA Best Awards 2024

The 2024 edition of The Best FIFA Football Awards, held in Doha, Qatar, celebrated outstanding achievements in the football world, with notable accolades awarded to Vinícius Júnior and Aitana Bonmatí.

Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior was honored as The Best FIFA Men's Player of 2024. His exceptional performance for Real Madrid, contributing 24 goals in 39 appearances, was instrumental in the club securing both the LaLiga and UEFA Champions League titles. Notably, Vinícius scored a pivotal goal in the Champions League final, underscoring his impact on the team's success. 

Spanish midfielder Aitana Bonmatí secured The Best FIFA Women's Player award for the second consecutive year. Her leadership and skill were pivotal in guiding FC Barcelona to a domestic treble, and she played a crucial role in Spain's international success. 

In the coaching categories, Real Madrid's Carlo Ancelotti was named The Best FIFA Men's Coach, acknowledging his strategic acumen in leading the team to significant victories. On the women's side, U.S. coach Emma Hayes received The Best FIFA Women's Coach award, reflecting her contributions to the sport. 

Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho earned the Puskás Award for the best goal, celebrated for his remarkable bicycle kick against Everton. Additionally, Brazil's Marta was honored with the inaugural Marta Award, recognizing the best goal in women's football. 

The Best FIFA Goalkeeper awards were presented to Alyssa Naeher for the women's category and Emiliano Martinez for the men's category, acknowledging their exceptional performances between the posts. 

The ceremony highlighted the global talent in football, celebrating individual and team achievements that have captivated fans worldwide over the past year.
